Fionnuala has spent the last 18 years working in the diagnostics industry developing innovative solutions to support the commercial delivery of multiplex diagnostic, predictive and prognostic clinical tests.

Her focus has been on the development of specialised medical device software platforms, innovative ML/AI tools and complex IVD tests and the construction of a quality framework under which such tools can be developed.

She has amassed considerable experience in guiding clinical software products through the regulatory path to commercial release.

Fionnuala holds an MSc in Bioinformatics from Dublin City University and a BSc in Human Genetics from Trinity College Dublin. Additionally, she is an inventor of a number of key patents related to genomic oncology tests.
